Punk rock music and style has subsisted for several decades since it originated. The punk movement opposed modern culture, not only through its fast paced music, but also through its fashion. The youths who proceeded to follow punk were reacting to current social situations and doing so by expressing themselves through music, clothing and violence. Punk stood against everything that was conventional with its Do-It-Yourself (DIY) attitude towards fashion and music. ironically, though punk was opposed top traditionalists, once it gained media attention for being outrageous, it quickly became fashionable to wear ripped clothes, safety pins, multi-colored hair and lurid makeup.

As strange as it may sound, being a punk is now trending. But wait! Hear me out. I know what you're thinking at this point. You're probably thinking I'm insinuating that being wimp is cool now?? Well of course not, that's never in fashion.

BEING A "PUNK" MEANS THE COMPLETE OPPOSITE ACTUALLY. IT IS EXTREME SELF-EXPRESSION.

You have to be loud, aggressive, rude and a strong advocate in what you believe in. This is what Punk fashion is all about. What I'm pinpointing is the influence and transition punk is making in street fashion. So, get those nice denims out along with your office supplies and start scribbling.

PUNK LEATHER JACKETS:

they're number one for a good reason. Leather jackets are a classic, meaning that they have been and will be in style for a long time. They're a great investment because they can take you from fall to spring, and even into cool summer nights.

Keep it classic by choosing a simple black motorcycle jacket or go eccentric with studs, asymmetrical zippers, distressed details, and buckles. These edgy jackets are the perfect addition to any outfit for both guys and girls, so this is a must- have staple for us!

SPIKED CLOTHING AND ACCESSORIES:

All hail spiked clothing and accessories. On days when you feel particularly rebellious, spiked jackets, shirts, pants, jewelry, and other accessories are a great go- to.

Pair your metal accent pieces with simple, solid colors so that your spikes stand out. Some awesome accessories to look for are headbands, purses, and studded belts.

PLAID PATTERNS:

Are you really punk if you don't wear plaid patterns? From the classic flannel button- up shirt to flared shorts or socks, plaid can be found in every type of garment. Muscle tee or sando motifs don't just stop at clothing- look for backpacks, cute scarves, and more for a complete plaid look.

PUNK HAIR COLOR:

You only live once, so don't be afraid to rock an awesome punk hair color. From sweet pastels to bold colors, it's easy to find a great hair color to suit your personality.

PUNK HOODIES OR JACKETS:

For those days where you just want to stay in bed, everybody needs their choice of punk hoodies or a jacket for a comfortable go- to style. Complete your outfit by wearing distressed jeans or shorts, a graphic tee, an embellished or patterned hoodie, and combat boots or sneakers.

Punk manner is the venture. hairdos. cosmetics. jewelry. and body alterations of the hood subculture. Punk manner varies widely.
I never think that punk fashion is a specter or overemphasized -it made a big impression, as the had never been anything like it before.
